Written By: Keletso Chalo

Authorities have urged motorists to use another road after a protest action broke out in Strandfontein Road and end up of 9th Avenue in Grassy Park .

They are not sure why they are protesting, but tyres and trees are being burnt, preventing movement on that road. “We ask morning commuters to use another road ,” Western Cape Traffic head Kenny Africa said.

Africa advised travellers to use Baden Powell Drive into PG Drive or Jakes Gerwel onto N2.

“In order to avoid being late for work it is important that commuters use other roads.”
